Sharon (Heirholzer) Farley's Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 11th, 2022, Sharon (Heirholzer) Farley passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family at the age of 78. Sharon worked at Tops Supermarket and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. Her favorite hobbies were family get-togethers, camping, and watching HGTV. Sharon was also a member of UFCW and a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church; she was married there on July 29th, 1961 to the love of her life, William Farley.
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Lucille Heirholzer; her sons, William, Jr. and Bryan Farley; as well as her siblings Sandra (Ib) Egeskov, Barbara Wells, Charles and William Heirholzer.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Farley; her son, Scott Farley (Jillian Hundshamer); her daughter, Colleen (Joseph) Plumley; her 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; her brother and sister, Robert Hierholzer and Gertrude MacMaster; sisters and brother-in-law, whom, she thought of as siblings, Patricia Harrig, Linda DeLelys, Beverly Carlin, and Michael Farley; along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 4-7 pm, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of her life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Private burial will take place in North Syracuse Cemetery.
