Sharon (Cavalier) Luteran's Obituary
Sharon (Cavalier) Luteran, 75, of North Syracuse, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on June 15, 2019. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Francis and Helen Cavalier. Sharon worked as a secretary/treasurer for General Business Insurance Agency, Inc. She was very active in the youth ministry at her church, Redeemer Covenant Church. Sharon enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, crocheting, crafting and derived great joy from giving gifts to friends and family.
She was an avid Disney fan and went numerous times with family and friends. She welcomed all into her home and to her table.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Mark Geaslen. Sharon is survived by her husband of 56 years, Paul J. Luteran; two daughters, Suzette Tyler of Syracuse and Stacey (Christopher) Button of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Kalin, Hadassah (Owen) Cronin, Gavrielle (Ben) Greenman, Eliana and Alexandria; one great-granddaughter, Eleanor; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Redeemer Covenant Church 7565 Morgan Rd. Liverpool, NY 13090. Funeral arrangements entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation, Golisano Children’s Hospital, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Crouse NICU.
