Sheila A. Macewicz's Obituary
Sheila A. (Tornatore) Macewicz, 60, of North Syracuse passed away on Saturday at the Francis House surrounded by her loving family. Born in Canastota, Sheila worked at Crouse Hospital as an Registered Nurse for 38 years in pediatrics and the NICU. She was passionate about caring for others and because of this, she was a "second mother" to so many. Sheila is survived by her husband, Joseph L. Macewicz; 3 daughters, Michelle L. Odjick of CA, Melissa A. (Brian) Thomas of N. Syracuse and Connie M. Macewicz of Astoria, NYC; a brother, Gilbert (Beverly) Tornatore of Canastota; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends may call at the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY on Thursday from 4 to 6:30 PM. Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio will conduct a memorial service at 6:30 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208
