Sheridan Michael Meaker "Mike"'s Obituary
Sheridan Michael Meaker “Mike”, 59, of Clay, NY, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Crouse Hospital on December 23, 2019 due to complications from diabetes.
Mike was born in Syracuse on January 17, 1960 to Sheridan “Butch” and Ruth (Lanty) Meaker. He graduated from Liverpool High School in 1979. He then served in the US Air Force and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany and Dover, Delaware.
He was predeceased by his father Sheridan “Butch” Meaker.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his mother, Ruth (Lanty) Meaker of Clay; children, Christopher Meaker and Breanne Meaker, both of Baldwinsville; his sister, Linda Meaker (Paul Clement) of Liverpool; brother, Eric Meaker of Phoenix, NY; step-mother, Marie Meaker of Syracuse; the love of his life, Patti Ryan Meaker of Baldwinsville; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 10 am to noon with a funeral service to follow at noon at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
