Ron and family,
I can't explain how the news of your father's passing escaped my knowledge. Bob and Rich were there at church, but I just didn't connect it to Jesse. Partly because I'm dull witted sometimes, but I think partly because I considered your dad indestructible.
Opening up our pool every year is one of my least favorite chores, but talking with your dad while he topped off or filled the pool was always a memorable experience. The stories, the local news, anything he shared was interesting and full of wisdom, along with humor. I will miss him :(
Please forgive us these later condolences, and know that our hearts grieve with yours even now. Sorry we missed the opportunity at the calling hours to express our love face to face.

Ron, we were so heart broken when you called of your dads passing. Your dad was one of the hardest working men I had the honor of knowing. I am so thankful to him and you for teaching my daughter the value in hard work. Hannah loved haying with you and your dad, He had a wonderful witty sense of humor and such a love for the land a combination that both Hannah and I appreciated. I’m not sure if she will miss being cover in itchy hay and sweat but I know she will miss your dad. Uncle Jim was 1 in a million. I'm so sad. I'm going to miss hearing from him and his exploits. I will not say Rest in Peace. That man never found any joy in sitting still. God better have some projects lined up to keep him out of trouble or heaven help the angels.

Uncle Jim. It has been many years since I saw you last but my memories of you are still fresh of a man who never raised his voice. Very gently and kind thoughtful and loved by many.
I am at peace knowing you have crossed over from this life to eternal life where there is no pain, no suffering, no sickness only unspeakable peace, love and beauty. You have now seen the face of God, nothing will ever compare to the awesomeness of that and being home surrounded by those you loved here on earth who went home before you.
My prayers are that God will comfort your loved ones here who will miss you beyond words.
My Uncle Jim was such a loving person. He had a smile that would light up a room. Strong hands and loving heart. I will miss you always. Tell aunt Shirley, Timmy and Jimmy I love them so much.
