Stephen A. Companion, D.C.'s Obituary
Dr. Stephen Companion, 82, passed away November 1, 2022 in Florida. He was the son of the late Santa (Patane) and Stephen Companion of Syracuse, NY.
Steve was born and raised in Syracuse. After graduating from Syracuse Central High School, he attended and graduated from National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, Illinois.
Upon receiving his D.C. degree, he returned to the Syracuse area and established The Companion Chiropractic Health Center in Eastwood, a practice which spanned 40 plus years. Steve helped numerous patients with his conscientious and professional care. During those years he was a colleague and a mentor to others in his practice who spawned off to open their own practices.
Steve retired to his home in Florida where he had resided for many years.
He is survived by his sister, Sophiann Cicci; his nephews, Joseph, Stephen, Jason and Matthew Cicci, and his nieces, Kristin Kettell and Amy Trombino.
A private memorial service was held at Assumption Cemetery.
