Stephen "Ko" M. Kohar III's Obituary
Stephen (Ko) M. Kohar III, 58, of North Syracuse passed away on Friday surrounded by his loving family.Steve was a graduate of Liverpool High School, spent his life in the electrical profession, was a master electrician, held his state license in security and fire alarms and was founder and co-owner of CSK Electrical Services. His spare time was spent in front of the computer and he was also interested in new technology and the unknown.He was a devoted husband, father and grandpa and will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his parents , Stephen M. Kohar II and Sue Beagle, and a sister, Sharon Kohar.
He is survived by his wife Candie Meyer-Kohar, two daughters, Patience (Mark) Frysinger of North Syracuse, Jessica (Andrew) Liepke of Mattydale, son, Stephen (Kim) Kohar IV of Mattydale, three granddaughters, Alyssa and Corynn Frysinger and Jasmine Ayre, and sister Susan (James) Klemm of St. Petersburg, FL.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Tuesday July 7th, form 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crouse Health Foundation, Visit to Hospital Land, 736 Irving Ave, Syracuse N.Y. 13210.
