Steven M. Melfi's Obituary
Steven M. Melfi, 56, of North Syracuse, passed away at home on Monday. Steven was born in Syracuse and was formerly employed with Crouse Hinds, Nine Mile II and Bellucci Enterprises. He was predeceased by his wife, Linda (Cordone) Melfi on April 13, 2011 and his brother, Vito Melfi. Steven is survived by his son, Steven A. Melfi; parents, Joseph and Henrietta (DeStefano) Melfi of Liverpool; brothers, Joseph (Virginia) Melfi of Camillus and John (Sharon) Melfi of Cicero; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and his dog, Roscoe. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 9:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
