Steven G. Searcy's Obituary
Steven G. Searcy, 27, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2017 in Liverpool, NY. Steven grew up in the Syracuse area. It is his home where he attended school, worked, and spent time with his family and friends.
Steven was born in Rochester, NY on April 30, 1990. As a kid, he was always a happy-go-lucky child and loved playing with his army toys which he loved to share with his brother, Erick.
Those that know Steven know of his contagious smile, endless energy, and love for life. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Most of all, he loved every minute of playing with his nieces and nephews and taking them to play kickball after school.
He loved music and he loved to travel. One of his dreams was to visit California and see the San Francisco Bridge, which he was able to accomplish this year.
Steven had aspirations to attend trade school and get his degree so that he could get a career that allowed him to work with his hands, which he loved to do. He also one day wanted to start a family of his own.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Searcy, Sr.
Steven is survived by his mother, Ruth Smith; brothers, Jesse Smith, Alan Smith, Erick Searcy, Jesse Searcy, Jr., and Caleb Searcy; sisters, Jasmine Williams, Jessica Searcy, Sekayi Searcy, and Hannah Searcy; grandmother, Ruth Searcy; uncle, Erick Searcy; aunt, Debra Searcy; nephews, Kahari, Kingston and Kovar Smith, Shyvnte Searcy; nieces, Tasia, Kameka, and Kinesha Smith, Adreana, Alexys, Aleiyah, and Dayon Searcy.
