Sue S. Bambacht's Obituary
Sue S. Bambacht,83, of Liverpool, NY, passed away at home on November 11, 2015. Born in Toledo, OH, she graduated from Kalamazoo College and received her masters from Wellesley College. After living in Wisconsin, she moved to central New York in 1967. Over the course of her life in CNY, she volunteered her time and talents with Marcellus Presbyterian Church, University UMC and Brown Memorial UMC. She retired from Syracuse University in 1999 and remained a devoted S.U. sports fan.
She was predeceased by her husband, James, and survived by her brother, Ted Stapleton (Marilyn) of Woodstock, Georgia; her children Don Bambacht (Junko) of San Diego, CA and Karen Bambacht (Mark Spadafore) of Liverpool, NY and other beloved family and friends. She is also survived by her grand dogs, Mini and Koda.
A memorial gathering will be held at University UMC at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Alzheimer’s Association, University UMC Food Pantry or The Salvation Army.
