Susan Lee Ellis' Obituary
Susan Lee (Van Sanford) Ellis, 67, of Fulton, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, after a 6 year successful fight with Cancer. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Allen) Van Sanford. Susan enjoyed gardening, reading and painting. She loved spending time with family and friends. Susan and Richard wintered in Sarasota, Florida and were considered "snowbirds" for the past 4 years.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Richard Douglas Ellis; 4 children, Sheila (James) Squadrito, Brian Ellis, Carl (Patti) Ellis and Lisa (William) Dennis; 11 grandchildren, Adam Squadrito, Kevin (Kristin) Squadrito, Tyler, Nicholas, Emily and Holly Squadrito; Carter, Logan, Hayden and Skyler Ellis; Jordan Douglas Ellis; one great-granddaughter, Aliza Squadrito.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours in celebration of Susan's life on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton, NY.
