Tammara Marie "Tami" (Bianchi) Campese's Obituary
Tammara M. “Tami” (Bianchi) Campese, 58, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on October 29, 2023. She was born and raised in Syracuse, daughter of the late Charles Bianchi and Judith (Galezzi) Vercillo. Tami started working for her family’s pizza shop at 12 years old where she learned to cook at an early age. She graduated from Bishop Grimes High School. Tami was a stay-at-home mom and also worked at Santy Glass. She was a proud mom of baseball, softball, football, and basketball and never missed a game. Tami loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She loved to entertain and show her love through cooking delicious Italian food.
Tami was also a dog-lover, especially her black labs, Niko and Lorenzo.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, David Campese, Sr.; her daughter, Alicia Campese (and partner, Rae Davis); her son, David (Kim) Campese, Jr.; two granddaughters, Estella and Josephine Campese; two brothers, Chuck (Nicole) Bianchi and John (Sarah) Vercillo; two sisters, Elizabeth Bianchi and Connie Bianchi DeMello; several nieces, nephews, close friends, The Casey Family, Pat Delledera, and her dog, Lorenzo.

A funeral Mass in celebration of Tami’s life will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Church, with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
