Theresa E. Bottino's Obituary
Theresa E. (Rugolino) Bottino, 90, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Carmen Rugolino and Grace Peconi. Theresa worked at Easy Washer Co., E.W. Edwards and Addis Company from where she retired. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for her family and her home. Theresa also enjoyed traveling and going dancing with her husband. She was a member of Assumption Golden Agers and was a communicant of St. Daniel's Church for 62 years. She was predeceased by her parents. Theresa is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Ernest L. Bottino; her sons, Louis (Susan) Bottino of Syracuse and David (Margaret) Bottino of Syracuse; her daughter, Filomena (Dexter) Blake of Syracuse; 7 grandchildren, Scott (Laura) Bottino, Heather (Jeffrey) Murphy, Jason (Stephanie) Blake, Jarod Blake, Ian Blake, Ashley (Michael) Scala and Alexandra Bottino; 8 great-grandchildren, Sydney, Xander, Addison, Gavin, Braydon, Ethan, Abby and Ryan; brothers, Peter Peconi of East Syracuse and John (Anita) Peconi of Liverpool; sisters, Lucy Hamilton of Solvay, Mary Ann Aiello of Syracuse and Kathleen (Gene) Brant of East Syracuse along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Msgr. Eugene Yennock on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VFW Mattydale Post 3146, 2000 Lemoyne Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13208.
