Theresa R. (Carno) Cimilluca's Obituary
Theresa R. (Carno) Cimilluca, 90, passed away on May 8, 2021 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse to the late Joseph and Carmella (Lotito) Carno. Theresa was a highly spirited person who loved spending time with the family for holidays, parties, and summers at the lake. She loved music and cooking, filling her home with song and joy, welcoming everyone who walked through the door. You could not help but smile or laugh when you were around her as she truly brought out the best in everyone. Theresa was a lifelong communicant of St. Daniel’s Church and worked at Syracuse China.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Theresa is survived by her lifelong love and husband of 69 years, Samuel Cimilluca; her children, Peter (Sally) Cimilluca, Stephen (Susan) Cimilluca, and Susan (Benjamin) Angona; grandchildren, Kristin (Shannon) Oaks, Stephen (Jennifer) Cimilluca, Lorraine (Ethan) Hart, Allison Angona, Natalie (Thomas) Maloney, and Nicola Angona; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Dominick, and Daniel; many nieces and nephews.
Theresa’s beautiful life spanned 90 years and touched the lives of so many. She left this world with the lasting message to all, “You’ve Gotta Love Each Other.” Her memory will be cherished throughout generations.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A Funeral service in celebration of Theresa’s life will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
