Theresa M. (Diliberto) Geremski's Obituary
Theresa M. (Diliberto) Geremski, 92, of Liverpool, passed away March 30, 2024 at Elderwood at Liverpool. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Salvatore C. and Christine (Simiele) Diliberto. Theresa was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards with the club girls for over 60 years, shopping, reading, walking, and traveling. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Geremski, Sr. in 2002; three siblings, James Diliberto, Dolores Diliberto, and Anthony Muscolino.
Theresa is survived by her children, Richard A. (Terry) Geremski, Jr., Michael J. (Nancy) Geremski, Maureen G. (Jay) Knight, and Christy A. (Brad) Nichols; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Betty Rose, Frances Geremski and Suzanne Geremski, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Theresa’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Epiphany Parish (formerly St. Joseph the Worker), 1001 Tulip St., Liverpool, NY. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
