Theresa (Prince) Milea's Obituary
Theresa (Prince) Milea, 93, of Chittenango, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Joseph and Francesca Prince. Theresa along with her husband, Paul, owned and operated Paul’s Flower Market for over 40 years. She loved flowers, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Theresa enjoyed wintering in Florida and spending summers at home on Oneida Lake.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Milea; two sons, Paul and Joseph; four brothers, Philip, John, Anthony and Salvatore.
Theresa is survived by her two sons, Frank Milea and Michael Milea, both of Syracuse; two daughters-in-law, Marlene and Helen Milea; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (Mary) Prince of Syracuse; one sister, Julia Prince-Racona of Skaneateles; sister-in-law, Catherine Prince of Syracuse, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Theresa’s life at 10:00 am in St. John the Baptist Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
