Theresa (Camardella) Neely's Obituary
Theresa (Camardella) Neely passed from this life after a courageous 7 year battle with cancer on Sunday, December 25th 2016 in Ahwatukee, Arizona. Born in Syracuse, NY December 3rd, 1959 – “Terry” was 57 at the time of her passing.
Terry was the eldest child and only daughter of the late Andrew Paul Camardella formerly of Boynton Beach, Fl., and Sandra (Robinson) Camardella of North Syracuse, NY.
Terry graduated from Pere Lemoyne Elementary School, Franciscan Academy Girls School and Liverpool High School. Shortly after her high school graduation she moved to the West Palm Beach area of Florida where she continued her education in Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University. Her most recent employer was University of Phoenix where she was an On-Line Class Counselor to our Military serving overseas wishing to expand their education.
Terry was predeceased by her father Andrew. She is survived by her husband of 27 wonderful years, Matthew Neely and their dear daughters, Erica (Patrick) Smith, and Sasha (Axel) Ferguson.
She is also survived by her only grandchild – Finnick Smith, her mother, Sandra (Robinson) Camardella; her brothers, Christopher (Joan) Camardella of Clay, NY, Joseph (Gina) Camardella of Holly Point, NC, and sister, Kimberly Camardella of West Palm Beach, FL; along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins who adored her.
Terry could often be found serving others throughout the country as she lived in Florida, California and finally to settle with her family in Ahwatukee, Arizona. She found her greatest joy in helping others with their children, making special dinners, and helping the poor in spirit. Terry will be missed by her many relatives, and friends throughout the country and internationally.
A celebration of life service for Terry was held on Saturday, December 31st, 2016 at The First Baptist Church of Scottsdale Arizona.
