Theresa M. Nocchiero's Obituary
Theresa M. Nocchiero, 94, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Nicholas and Caroline (Bellucci) Nocchiero. Theresa was employed in the Accounting Department at Crucible Steel for 50 years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and baking for the holidays.
She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Nocchiero and her brother-in-law, James DePalma.
Theresa is survived by her two sisters, Mary DePalma of Liverpool and Concetta N. Clark of Syracuse, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Theresa’s family would like to thank the staff of 4D at Van Duyn for their care, compassion and friendship over the last 6 years.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Theresa’s life will be held at 10:00 am in St. Charles /St. Ann Church, 501 S. Orchard Rd., Syracuse on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Francis House, 108 Michael’s Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
