Theresa F. Pacelli's Obituary
Theresa F. (Calcagino) Pacelli, age 86, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Thursday at the Francis House. She was born on the North Side of Syracuse and worked at Syracuse China side by side with her three sisters. A delightfully funny and lovely woman whose nickname was “Queenie” as she had a penchant for fashion.
She is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Harry S. Pacelli; her son, Philip who died in 1969 and her sister Mary (Calcagino) Amato.
Theresa is survived by several loving family members; a son, Ken M. Pacelli, his fiancé Sandra Amelio; two grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth and Jeffrey Philip Pacelli; sisters, Cecelia (Calcagino) Miceli and Anna (Calcagino) Tardone; brothers, Thomas Calcagino and Cosimo Calcagino; several close nieces and nephews including Carmen (Skip) Miceli and his wife Gayle Welling, Louis Miceli, Joseph Tardone, Trina Tardone and more.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
