Theresa A. (Pistilli) Maiorano's Obituary
Theresa A. (Pistilli) Maiorano, 92, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday in James Square. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of Peter and Jenny (Giongobbe) Pistilli. Theresa retired from Nettleton Shoe Factory, and worked for many years at Our Lady of Pompei Church Rectory. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and her many trips to the casino.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carmen Maiorano in 1974; her grandson Kevin, and sisters, Carmella Cariota and Josephine Straub.
Theresa is survived by her sons, John (Colleen) Maiorano and Carl (Sally) Maiorano; her daughter, Jeanette (Michael) Pauldine; grandchildren, Jeni, Natalie, Michael and Nicolas; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 9 – 11 am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, followed by a funeral mass in celebration of Theresa’s life at noon in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
