Thomas V. "Tom" Acox's Obituary
Thomas V. “Tom” Acox, 56, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 30, 2015 after a work related accident. He was born in Exeter, NH and was the owner of Spectrum Paint and Decorating Center, LLC. Tom was a solid, hardworking and honest man who always had a great smile. He worked well with his hands and often made time to help anyone with a project. He enjoyed the outdoors, playing and watching golf and was an avid Red Sox fan. Tom had solid values and was committed to his family, always putting them first.
He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy (Smith) Acox.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Donna (L’Ecuyer) Acox; his daughter, Jessica (Doug) Levy of Boston, MA; his son, Jonathan Acox of Liverpool; two sisters, Susan (Rick) Philbrick and Christine (Cory) Sullivan, both of New Hampshire; his brother, Ken Acox of Colorado, along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2015 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Liverpool.
