Thomas Joseph Bodnar's Obituary
Thomas Joseph Bodnar, 46, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on Monday. Born in Syracuse, Thomas was a self-employed ceiling contractor. He was predeceased by his parents, Jeanette I. and Joseph W. Bodnar, his sister, Patricia A. Bodnar-Meaker and his two brothers, Joseph W. and Robert L. Bodnar. Surviving are his daughter, Ashley Bodnar of Syracuse; his brother, Stephen of Liverpool; former wife, Melissa Bodnar of North Syracuse; nieces, Elizabeth Bodnar of North Syracuse, Katie Juliao and Julie Huertas, both of Florida; nephews, Joseph Bodnar of Liverpool, John Serio of Baldwinsville and Brian and Timothy Meaker of Syracuse along with many lifelong friends, Tom Commisso of Syracuse, Chris Schell of Liverpool, Mike Appel of Syracuse, Dan Casey of Syracuse, Paul Polastro of Pittsburgh and Ray Phair of Florida. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Friday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm with a funeral service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ashley Bodnar Scholarship fund, 5324 Heidi Lane, Brewerton, NY 13029.
