Thomas C. Mick's Obituary
Thomas C. Mick, 90, passed away July 31, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Max and Elizabeth (Nicholson) Mick. Thomas was a U.S. Navy Corpsman. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Liverpool after many dedicated years of service. He was a member of the Pastime Athletic Club and was also a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and a member of their Holy Name Society. Thomas enjoyed bowling, golfing and baseball, but most of all, took pride in his home and lawn maintenance.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his son, Thomas Mick, Jr.; his twin brother, James Mick; two sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Burgan and Beverly Wilbur.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Rosemary (Favalo) Mick; his daughter, Rosemarie Mick, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Thomas’ life will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Family and friends may call from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
