Thomas M. Runfola's Obituary
Thomas M. “Tom” Runfola, 54, of Cicero, passed away in his sleep at home on Thursday, October 1, 2015. He was born in Buffalo, NY and resided in the Syracuse area for many years. Tom was employed with New Venture Gear for 16 years, retiring in 2012. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed woodworking and home remodeling; above all Tom loved spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his children, Nicole Runfola of Cicero, Renee (Joseph) Materne of Athens, GA, Tyler Runfola of Syracuse and their mother, Linda Runfola; his mother, Donna (Alan) Shively; his granddaughter, Carly M. Terek; six siblings, Pamela (Lewis) Palomeque of Warners, Randal Runfola of TX, Jeffrey (Judith) Runfola of Cicero, H. Christian Runfola of Buffalo, Amanda (Michael) Durkin of Buffalo and Rachael Runfola of Buffalo, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 4:00 – 6:30 pm with a funeral service in celebration of Tom’s life immediately following at 6:30 pm on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
