To Sharon and family, I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing from my wife, Laurie and reading the obituary on-line today. I thought he would live forever, for he was larger than life itself. Laurie intoduced me to Tom back in the late 80's when she had told him she had met the man of her deeams and of course I had to met him and make sure I would meet his standards. Safe to say I passed and Tom gave me a great haircut and still did up until he left the shop off Teall Ave. We were honored that you and Tom attended our wedding. I enjoyed getting my haircut from Tom because he would tell me the best stories of his life through the years. they were were amazing!!! As our friendship grew, Tom would invite me to join him on occasion to SU basketball and football games. I would always come early to get my haircut just to see if he wanted me to snag him a sandwich from the Lucky 7's and we would hand out and shot the shit. It was hard to find a new barber, no offense to you Sharon, when it was time for Tom to hang up his scissors. I used to visit him over the years during his hospital stints, to try and cheer him up. I am sad that I lost track of Tom after he left the shop, told him that I would come out to visit and kick his ass to move about. Unfortunately that did not happen, got lost in the day to day existance of our own micro cosmic life. I type this with a heavy heart and I an truly devastated, so sad but I know he is in a better place and pain free at the casino on cloud nine. Will miss you.
