Thomas E. Yuckel's Obituary
Thomas E. Yuckel, 65, of Central Square, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse to Douglas and Janet (McCarthy) Yuckel and graduated from Cicero High School in 1970. Tom worked for Crouse-Hinds for 47 years, but also enjoyed camping, boating, bowling, golfing, and spending time with his family.
He is predeceased by his father, Douglas R. Yuckel and his brother, David Yuckel.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Kathryn (White) Yuckel; daughters, Denise (James) Pellenz and Cassie (Eric) Pezzello; son, Terry (Alison) Yuckel; mother, Janet E. Yuckel; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Douglas Yuckel and Matthew Yuckel; sister, Janet Yuckel; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Willow.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 4-6:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Tom’s life at 6:30 pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
