Thomas R. Zirilli, Jr.'s Obituary
Thomas R. Zirilli, Jr., 70, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly at Upstate University Hospital on September 22, 2019. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Lucretia (D’Eredita) and Thomas Zirilli, Sr. He graduated from Henninger High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Thomas worked in the family business, Zirilli Paint Co. for many years, and more recently, Tile & Carpet/Pro Source. He was an avid NY Yankees and SU fan.
In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by his brother, Joseph T. Zirilli.
Thomas is survived by his daughter, Stacey Zirilli; siblings, Rose Mary (Joseph) Kurpiewski, Elaine Zirilli and Anthony (Jennifer) Zirilli; his sister-in-law, Frances Zirilli, along with several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the Physicians and Staff of the Cardiac ICU at Upstate University Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 am on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Thomas’ life at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, September 27, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
