Timothy Delia's Obituary
Timothy Delia, 46, of Liverpool, passed away Tuesday morning surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Marion “Bonnie” Marko and Anthony “Butch” Delia. Along with his parents he was also predeceased by his brother Mark Delia. Tim was a kind and humble man who rarely complained. Tim was a loving father to his son George’Anthony, a thoughtful son, caring brother and husband. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed gardening, outdoors and hunting with his brothers. He had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. Timothy is survived by his wife Michelle (Sears) Delia of Westvale, his son George’Anthony Delia of Westvale; His 5 siblings, Michael (Delaine) Delia of Camillus, Maureen (Mark) Staab of Syracuse, A. Thomas (Kelley) Delia of Syracuse, Daniel F. (Debra) Delia of Baldwinsville, and Julie Ann Delia of Liverpool, Uncle Donald (Linda) Delia of Liverpool, sister in law Lynne Delia of Syracuse, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Holy Family Church in Camillus. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088.
