Todd Kessler's Obituary
Todd Kessler, 44, of Syracuse, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Oswego, NY and graduated from Mexico High School where he enjoyed acting, participating in many plays. Todd served with the US Army in Korea for 3 years. In 2001 he married his best friend and love of his life, Jenna. He worked as an accountant and was employed with Onondaga County for 15 years; he also worked at Lowes part-time. Todd was an avid cyclist, riding his bike to work whenever he could. He was very charitable, helping people whenever the opportunity arose. He also enjoyed music and woodworking; often creating and donating birdhouses for charity. Todd always made people laugh. Todd was a loving, wonderful father who will be truly missed.
He was predeceased by his grandparents and his daughter Isabelle.
Todd is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Jenna (Humphrey) Kessler; his three children, Arik T. Schermerhorn, Maisy Kessler, and Cosmo Kessler; his parents, Robert A. and Judith A. (Santora) Kessler; two siblings, Scott (Julie) Kessler of Mexico, NY and Sarah Kessler of Seoul, South Korea, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 4 – 6:30 PM, followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Todd’s life at 6:30 PM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
