Toni Ann (Gigantelli) McDonald's Obituary
Toni Ann (Gigantelli) McDonald, 70, of Syracuse, passed away March 4, 2023 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Dr. Thomas and Jean (LaMacchia) Gigantelli. Toni Ann graduated from Cazenovia College and the College of Mount St. Vincent. She was the Lead Infant Teacher at The Gingerbread House Preschool Childcare Center for many years.
In life, Toni was an avid reader, loved the outdoors, cherished time with friends and more than anything, valued every moment with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Thomas Gigantelli.
Toni Ann is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas A. McDonald; three children, Meghan McDonald, Ryan McDonald and Courtney McDonald; two grandchildren, Haleigh and Matthew Michaud; siblings, MaryBeth (Louis) Jablonski, Sue (TJ) Sheridan, Joseph (Laura) Gigantelli and John Gigantelli; many beloved nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A Funeral Mass in celebration of Toni Ann’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 10, 2023 at St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St., North Syracuse, NY. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The Food Bank of CNY.
