Tony J. Catanzaro's Obituary
Tony J. Catanzaro, 72, of Liverpool, NY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 13, 2017. He was born in Giarre Sicily, Italy, son of Mario and Rosalia (Sorbello) Catanzaro. Tony was a baker and cook for many years, then was employed as a truck driver, and in later years was self-employed and contracted for Conrail. He was a fun loving man who was full of life, and enjoyed being the life of the party. Tony had a big heart, and will be truly missed by many.
He was predeceased by his son Nathan, and brother Salvatore.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Tina Catanzaro; grandsons, Justin Penar and Zane Catanzaro; his sister, Carmela (Rosario) Occhipinti, along with several nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 4:00 – 6:30 PM, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Tony’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
