Ursula (Campese) Donofrio's Obituary
Ursula (Campese) Donofrio, 97, devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, passed away July 27, 2021 at Upstate University Hospital. She was born on October 25, 1923, daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Nuzzo) Campese. Ursula was a lifetime resident of Syracuse and a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband, Sam Donofrio; two brothers, Sylvester (Grace) Campese and Michael (Ann) Campese, Jr.
Ursula is survived by two sons, Angelo Donofrio and Michael (Kathy) Donofrio; three grandchildren, Michael (Allyson) Donofrio, Anthony (Mary) Donofrio and Stephanie (Ryan) Kennedy; three great-grandchildren, Eric, Addison and Anthony Joseph Donofrio; her sister, Carolyn (Jim) Cangemi, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 11am – 1pm, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of Ursula’s life at 1pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Private entombment will take place at Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity of choice.
