Victor F. Ciciarelli's Obituary
Victor F. Ciciarelli, 83, of Syracuse, NY, passed away Thursday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy and SUNY Cortland. Victor worked with the Syracuse City School District for 37 years as a Teacher, Vice-Principal, Principal, and District Administrator. He enjoyed fishing, attending musical performances at the Merry-Go-Round Theater, NY Yankees baseball, and SU football.
He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Mary (Kohan) Ciciarelli; brothers, Salvatore, Joseph, Peter, and John Ciciarelli; his sister, MaryAnn Ciciarelli, and infant daughter, Lisa Andrea Ciciarelli.
Victor is survived by his children, Victor J. Ciciarelli (Margaret) of Liverpool, and Christine Pawelek (John) of Baldwinsville; his granddaughters, Jessica, Lisa, and Rachael Pawelek, and Olivia Barbato; former wife, Elena Guida; his brother, Paul Ciciarelli of Charlotte, NC; his sister, Catherine Ciciarelli of Syracuse; his best friend and “Honey”, Ellen Brown (daughter Kelly); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Victor’s life at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
