Victor N. "Vic" Pelosi's Obituary
Victor N. “Vic” Pelosi, 89, of Lyncourt, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 18, 2020. He was born in Syracuse to the late Benedetto and Angelina (Campione) Pelosi. Vic was a US Army Veteran and worked as a self-employed newspaper distributor in the Syracuse area for over 40 years. Vic was a kind, intelligent and gracious man who always greeted everyone with a smile. When meeting Vic, he would always ask for your name no matter where he was and would always refer to you by name. He had a way of making people feel appreciated and special. His positive view of life was so inspiring. Even when facing adversity, he would still smile and remain optimistic. His faith and church were so important to him, and he served as an usher at St. Daniel Church for many years.
Besides his parents, Vic is predeceased by his wife, Frances (Endieveri) Pelosi in May; his two brothers, Vincent Pelosi and Benny Pelosi, III; two sisters, Theresa Marnell and Kate Chalone.
Vic is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. A funeral mass in celebration of Vic’s life will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in St. Daniel Church. Those wishing to attend the service remotely may do so at www.stdaniel.com at 9:30 am on Tuesday. A private entombment will take place with his wife Frances in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
