Victoria M. "Vicky" Tully's Obituary
Victoria M. “Vicky” (Contreras) Tully, 38, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Vicky was employed as a Parent and Child Advocate at Hillside Children’s Center. Vicky believed in the beauty and power of connecting with others. Aside from her agency, she devoted her life to her family. She loved cheering on her daughters at sporting events and volunteering at local schools in the Tipperary Hill community. Vicky was passionate about reading, beaches, and holidays. She had an autumnal heart and a spirit of Christmas that she shared with those around her.
Vicky is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, David A. Tully; her two beloved daughters, Elizabeth A. Tully and Samantha L. Tully, both of Syracuse; her mother, Magdalena (John) Lewis of Syracuse; her grandfather, Antonio “Popo” Hernandez; five sisters, Veronica (Raymond) Benz of Syracuse, Vanessa Contreras of Syracuse, Felicia Contreras of Columbus, OH, Bridget Kinane of Syracuse, and Maria Sullivan of Syracuse; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and two great-nieces.
A funeral mass in celebration of Vicky’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 6, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Church. Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
