Vincent Caracci, Jr.'s Obituary
Vincent Caracci, Jr., 91, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the Cottages at Garden Grove. He was born in Syracuse to the late Vincent Sr. and Rose (Giaruzzo) Caracci. Vincent retired from the Herald-Journal Newspaper after 37 dedicated years working as a pressman. As a proud US Navy Veteran, he was a Charted Member of the Fleet Reserve Association and was very active in his involvement.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Rosemary (Alibrandi) Caracci and his brother, Anthony Caracci.
Vincent is survived by his two sisters, Florence Ribas and JoAnne Caracci (Fran Notcher); a close friend, Pam Servello; along with a niece, nephew and several cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 10:30 – 11:30 am on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St. Syracuse, followed by a funeral mass at 11:45 am in the church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
