Vincent Lupo's Obituary
Vincent Lupo, 86, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Francis House on November 6, 2020. He was born in Comiso, Sicily, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Angela (DiFalco) Lupo. Vince worked for many years as a book binder at Hall and McChesney and later at the Onondaga County Clerk’s Office in the same capacity. He also volunteered for over 20 years at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Vince enjoyed cooking and gardening and was an avid reader.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Lupo and his sister, Stella Gianni.
Vince is survived by his three special nieces, Ann Kalkbrenner of Rochester, Nancy Petroff of Liverpool, and Diana Crivelli (Michael Driessen) of Cicero; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins in Italy, and many other special friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 4 - 6 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Road) North Syracuse. A PRIVATE funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Vince will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vince’s name may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave. Syracuse, NY 13208 for the care and compassion showed to Vince during his stay there.
