Vincent F. Tropea Jr.'s Obituary
Vincent F. Tropea Jr., 70, of North Syracuse, passed away Saturday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse and worked for Solvay Iron Works for 50 years before retiring in 2011. Vincent lived and loved life for his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sandra E. (Piano) Tropea; two children, Vincent Michael Tropea of Clearwater, FL and Lisa Marie (Jamie Loaiza) Tropea of Orlando, FL; granddaughter, Chloe Lynn Tropea; sister, Marcia (Samuel) Ferranti of Syracuse; sister-in-law, Linda Kenney of Syracuse; two brothers-in-law, Steve (Pat) Piano of Syracuse and Michael (Grace) Piano of Ohio; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 11:00 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
