Violet Lobello's Obituary
Violet (Sciancalepre) Lobello,90, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Vito and Mary Sciancalepre. Her life's enjoyment was spending time with family and friends. Violet will always be remembered for her gentle demeanor and Sunday gatherings with all enjoying her delicious fried meatballs. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Lobello and her daughter, Linda Bray. Violet is survived by two daughters, Lorraine (Sut) Boster and Luann (Chip) LaFrance, both of Cicero; her son, Peter (Jean) Lobello of Westvale; son-in-law, Jim Bray of East Syracuse; grandchildren, Lori (Pat) Welch, Casey (Brian) Gregory, Chipper LaFrance, Jamee (Alex) Corsello, Jessica Collins, Erica, Jeff and Katie Lobello; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Malvina Bolognone; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gloria and John Lobello and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Employee Fund at Menorah Park. Violet's family would like to express extreme gratitude to our "sibs" at Menorah Park for their loving care and support.
