Virginia Ann "Ginny" Mancini's Obituary
Virginia Ann “Ginny” Mancini, 86, of Tacoma, WA passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 18, 2024. She was born in Glens Falls, NY to the late Everett and Florence (Harvey) Brown and graduated from East Syracuse High School. Ginny worked as a case worker for the Social Security Administration for many years prior to her retirement and was a founding member of the NY Central Chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA).
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Andrew Mancini in 2016 and brothers, Marvin and Gerald Brown.
Ginny is survived by her children, Michael (Denise) Staley, Richard (Brenda) Staley, James (Kathleen) Mancini, and Sherry (John) Dobreski; her 9 grandchildren; her 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her sister, Sharon Podzebka; her brother-in-law, Ralph Mancini; her sister-in-law, Theresa Lohm; nephews, Frank and Daniel Mancini; and her grand-niece, Miranda Mancini.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service in celebration of Ginny’s life at 11:00 A.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville.
