Virginia (Zajac) Scivetti's Obituary
Virginia (Zajac) Scivetti 94, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at her daughter’s home in New Jersey after a long illness. Virginia was born on March 14, 1928 to Peter and Sophie Zajac of Syracuse. In 1949 Virginia married Anthony Scivetti her beloved husband of 56 years, who passed away in 2005. She attended business school and worked in the accounting dept. at General Electric for many years.
Virginia is survived by her two children, a daughter, Jeanmarie (Richard) Gabriel of New Jersey, and a son, Anthony (Kara) Scivetti of MA; five grandchildren, Ashley and RJ of New Jersey, Tony, Max and Ava of MA.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY, followed by burial in Assumption Cemetery.
