Virginia "Ginny" (Toia) Perrotti's Obituary
Virginia (Toia) Perrotti, 88, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at Francis House on July 3, 2021. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Vito and Ida (Sanzone) Toia. Virginia’s priority, first and foremost, was caring for her family. She and her husband raised three children together, settling in Liverpool. She went on to work part-time at the Town of Salina for 18 dedicated years, retiring in 2002. Virginia enjoyed cooking, especially Sunday Dinners; above all, she loved spending time with friends and family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her sister, Mary LaCorte and two brothers, Phillip and Vito Toia.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Carmen A. Perrotti; two sons, Carmen J. (Sheila) Perrotti and David (Kristin) Perrotti; her daughter, Karen (Dominick) Caruso; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special thanks to Kindred Home Health, Hospice of CNY and Francis House, for the exceptional help, caring for Virginia in her final days.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, 9:00 am at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Virginia’s life at 10:00 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
