Walter LeRoy "Lee" Henderson's Obituary
Walter LeRoy “Lee” Henderson, 81, of North Syracuse, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Great Falls, Montana, and was an employee for over 50 years of Genuine Parts Company.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gail (Azzoto) in 2021, his mother, Louise (Stearns), and his aunt, Marge Bisesi.
Walter is survived by his son, Scott (Crystal) Henderson; his daughter, Dawn (Jesse) Norcross; five grandchildren, Dakota, Zachary and Austin Henderson, Faith and Isaac Norcross; his sister, Sherry Andrews, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Walter’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. in Epiphany Parish (formerly St. Joseph the Worker Church) 1001 Tulip St., Liverpool, NY. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
