Wanda A. (Podolak) Paparo's Obituary
Wanda A. (Podolak) Paparo, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at Loretto Nursing Home. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Michael and Anna Podolak. She was an avid gardener, a meticulous house wife, and loved spending time with her family. Wanda was a communicant of Holy Cross Church in Dewitt .She was predeceased by her parents, 4 brothers, Edward, Stanley, Charles, and George and one sister, Irene. Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Alfonso J. Paparo; her son, Albert M. (Joann) of Dewitt; 2 grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Paparo of Syracuse, and Dr. Stephen Paparo of Amherst, MA; her great granddaughter Morgan Paparo, a brother, Ted (Marney) Podolak of E. Aurora, NY; and a sister Mary Kesel of TN. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12:00 pm in Holy Cross Church, Dewitt where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment to follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum.
