Wayne G. Norton, 73, of Syracuse, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his family on Monday, October 27, 2014. He was born in Canada and resided in Syracuse for over 50 years. Wayne was a self-employed washer and dry Read Obituary
I thought very highly of Mr Norton. I was a customer for about 10 years because he was a honest and experienced repairman. I remember one time he brought a young teenage boy with him (perhaps his grandson) to our house while Wayne did his repair work. I thought to myself "What a great experience to have a grandfather like Wayne." We wish to express our sympathy to Wayne's family and friends. He was a fine person, I am so glad I got to know him. I grew up with Wayne, we even worked the White Tower together, he was one of my best friends. Such a great guy, I can't believe he's gone. Miss you Wayne.
Wayne was always a great neighbor and I enjoyed our many conversations. I remember his love for dogs, his smile, and , of course, his lawn (front and back) which was spectacular, like a plush green rug.
