William G. Henshaw's Obituary
William G. Henshaw, 66, of Clay, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was born to the late James Lewis Henshaw and Jean Caroline Stone.
William was a body shop manager for Northside Collison. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and playing golf. He also enjoyed fixing cars and he could fix or build anything he wanted to.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Marilyn, Janice and Marsha; his stepmom, Joanne Henshaw; and his pets, Pepper, Gremlin, Squeaky, and Tré.
William is survived by his son, Shawn Henshaw; his grandchildren, Maximus and Alexandra Henshaw; his siblings, James, Steve, Lynn, and Lewis; his pet, Diesel.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., immediately followed by a funeral service with Military Honors in celebration of William’s life at 3:00 p.m. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY. He will be laid to rest privately in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Road Syracuse, New York 13215.
