William R. LaMattina's Obituary
William R. LaMattina, 65, of Clay, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Dunkirk, NY he served with the US Navy on the USS Worden during the Vietnam Conflict. William was a former supervisor at Miller Brewery and a supervisor at Huhtamki in Fulton, NY. He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald LaMattina and sister, Peggy Kohlman. William is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine M. (Sinicki) LaMattina; his daughter, Julie (Charles) Middleton of Cicero; his son, James (Irene) LaMattina of West River, MD; 5 grandchildren, Alicia, Chuckie, Joey Blake and Maggie; a sister, Mary Lou (Norman) Pawlak of N. Tonawanda, NY and a brother, John (Debbie) of Dunkirk, NY. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 9:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY and 10:00 AM in St. John's Church, Soule Rd. Burial will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
