William J. "Bill" Napolitano, Sr.'s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of William James Napolitano Sr. announces his unexpected passing on February 4, 2019 at the young age of 49.
Calling hours will be held from 10 AM - 12 PM, Monday, February 11, 2019 at Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home, 3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse NY 13212, with a funeral service to follow where family and friends alike can share their greatest memories of Bill.
Bill was born March 27, 1969 and grew up in Camillus to Marilyn Kurlowicz and Ralph Napolitano. He was always full of life and had a love for sports in his younger years that he carried with him into adulthood. Bill’s favorite sports included; Lacrosse and Football. He participated in both activities. Even when he grew older, he and “the old timers” would go play together and act like they could still run with the young kids. When he wasn’t trying to compete with the youngins’ he passed the torch and watched his family play sports. He always attended his children’s sporting events no matter how close or how far and continued the tradition with his only grandson. When he wasn’t enjoying the kids playing sports, he enjoyed hunting, that was his time where he could be at peace and become one with nature.
Bill was a lot of things. He was caring, he was there to talk to about anything the good and the bad. He was willing to do anything for almost anyone. Bill always seemed to be the life of the party, willing to embarrass himself to make others laugh. He like every other human on this planet was human, those who knew him knew he liked to “party”, and while he might not have always made the best choices, he was willing to deal with the consequences. He knew how he lived his life and wouldn’t want it any other way. Even though he wasn’t a saint he had a heart of gold. He was a character 24/7 but at the end of day he loved his family to his very last breath and would want them not to grieve his death but celebrate his life. Revel in the memories he created, remember that he was a good person, and know that he will journey through the rest of our lives beside us, until the time comes to meet again.
Bill is survived by his children, Clarissa, Billy Jr., Dominick and Cassi. Bill had one grandson, Anthony. Bill’s longtime girlfriend Tammy. His parents, Marilyn and Ralph; his brothers, Jim and John. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Jr. Bill also had a ginormous family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews almost as big as his heart. He will be remembered and missed by all.
If anyone would like to make any donations they can be made to Clarissa Napolitano, for the saving accounts set up for Bill’s youngest children, Dominick and Cassi.
