William "Bill" Putzer's Obituary
William "Bill" Putzer, age 80, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Syracuse, he was employed with Crouse Hinds and Chrysler before retiring from the family business; Comfort Windows. He served with the US Coast Guard, was an avid fisherman and hunter. Bill was a loving, compassionate person and touched many people with his great sense of humor. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and loved his family very much. He was predeceased by his son, Michael Putzer in 1990. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Agnes Putzer; children; Mark Putzer of Brewerton, Bill (Diana) Putzer of LaFayette and Laurie (Fritz) Gentile of Baldwinsville and several grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 am Saturday at the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 9:30 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 7 pm. Contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Hospital and Elderwood Health Care at Birchwood.
