William S. Tibitts' Obituary
William S. Tibitts, 93, of Baldwinsville, passed away June 27, 2021 at Elderwood at Liverpool. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late William J. and Leah F. (Thompson) Tibitts. William was a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving from 1952 – 1954. He retired after many dedicated years as an automotive teacher at BOCES.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by five siblings, James, Beverly, Carol, Judy and Patricia.
William is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Evelyn (Smith) Tibitts; his son, W. Ronald (Bonnie G.) Tibitts of North Syracuse; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Kimberly Kyanka, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 10 am – 11 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 210 Hazel St., Liverpool, NY, immediately followed by a Funeral Service in celebration of William’s life at 11 am. Interment with military honors will take place at Morrisville Cemetery, Morrisville, NY.
